Celebrate Love | Mini Session

kissmee

When you google “what would the world be without love” Some of the top answers were that it would “cease to exist” or that “all life would not be the experience we know now”. How many philosophers have tried to explain love. Love is this thing that we can’t fully grasp, it’s something so much bigger than I believe we can ever comprehend. We see it displayed in so many ways, but yet I get this feeling that we haven’t even scratched the surface as to the depths of which love can go.

Valentines Day is not the only day people tell each other “I love you”. It’s been Hallmarked into being the day of love and cupids and candy hearts. However, I believe that each day should be a day of love. I love to celebrate love. It’s why I do what I do, capturing weddings and trying to give a glimpse of the bigger picture of what love is. My favorite explanation of what love is comes from author, C.S. Lewis –

“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable.”

I want to offer a special to those that celebrate love. Whether your love has been tempered through the ages or is just beginning to blossom, I want to capture that essence for you. I am offering a special session for those that inquire in the next couple weeks and book a “mini love session” with me! If you would like further details as to what will be included please be sure to shoot me an email at elizabethzellonphotography@gmail.com Be sure to include in the subject line “celebrate love” when you send me your email!

I hope that you have a beautiful weekend!

Dillard | Arkansas Couple

Wrapping up this wedding season and flipping through the various shoots I have been part of this past year just makes me so happy. But it makes me want to strive for me, see more, shoot more, meet more. I have loved being part of each and every happily ever after, new life, and just plain amazing shoots with some awesome people. I had no idea where this year would take me and honestly I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have learned and grown in this new year through the various shoots I have been a part of. Each one has taught me something new, challenged me, and impacted me. I can’t wait to see what next year brings for me! Over the next couple weeks be sure to be on the look out here and on other parts of social media where I will be posting about the new 2015 year of EZ Photography. I can’t wait to hear from you all about what the new year holds for you all! Please enjoy this last set of photos released of Jill and Derick Dillard! I have had so many ask about this last set of photos and I am pleased to be able to share them all with you. Let me know your thoughts from the weddings and what were your favorites from this set!

Ben and Jessa Seewald | Wedding Party

I can’t believe it’s been over a month this amazing couple has been married. I’ve been so amazed looking back on this year of what I have had the privilege to be the “fly on the wall” for my couples happily ever after moments. You know that feeling when you get when you plan something special and that day finally arrives or like that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you eat chocolate or see a friend you haven’t seen in forever? Imagine that feeling being your job. I get it every time I get to shoot a wedding. It’s like an adrenaline rush every time and it’s what keeps me coming back for more. I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. I used to dream of being a photographer when I was younger, actually that’s a lie, I actually used to dream of becoming a dolphin trainer but that’s a whole other story. Anyways back to the whole dream of photography-I mean wow! I actually am living my dream! And weddings like Jessa and Ben’s are a huge part of that dream. Being able to shoot wedding for  my friends and not only being there but making sure that I get to capture those moments so they can look back when they are old, wrinkly and sitting in their rocking chairs and reminisce about when their forever started. Anyways I know it’s late and I really should go to bed. I appreciate you and thank you so much for the feed back and comments you leave. You all are so sweet and I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the support of me living my dream. Have a wonderful night and enjoy these two photos from the lovely Seewald wedding!

Dillard Wedding | Pt. II

That one person who gets you,. It’s that one that catches your eye across a room and you know they get you in the midst of everything.   When you find that one hold on tight, get ready to be in for the ride of your life and enjoy the dance.  When couple decide on a first look I know that the moment is going to be electrifying. This isn’t your typical glance, this is one where the whole world fades away and you are both staring at your future in that moment. When we talked about the first look between Jill and Derick they really left it up to me where this moment would take place. Seeing it all unfold before my lens was like watching that perfect fairy tale pinnacle point where the prince and princess sing their song together you are let in on the secret that they are each others happily ever after. Anyways,  now that I want to go watch every single Disney princess movie right now -Hope that you have a great Saturday!
