Ben and Jessa Pt. II | Ceremony

The bridal march begins and all eyes turn to the doors opening as the bride is escorted down the aisle. Yes, my eyes are on it as well, but I love looking at the groom in that moment. His face as he sees his bride coming towards him, it’s just priceless. That immediate reaction is sometimes for just a split second; I always try to capture that moment, freeze it in time for the couple to look back and cherish. Ben’s face as he saw Jessa coming down that aisle was so sweet, you could see the love and adoration he had for her in his eyes that were tearing up.

Another favorite part of the ceremony was something that was so special. Ben had kept the wedding band a surprise for his bride and she did not see it till it was being placed on her hand. Jessa let out a small gasp and muttered the words “it’s perfect” as it was placed on her finger. Her reaction to the band was again, a priceless moment that I am so glad I was able to capture for them.

I hope you enjoy this next set to their lovely wedding! Happy Easter to you all and may you enjoy your day wherever you may be!

Be blessed

xoxo

Dillard | Arkansas Couple

Wrapping up this wedding season and flipping through the various shoots I have been part of this past year just makes me so happy. But it makes me want to strive for me, see more, shoot more, meet more. I have loved being part of each and every happily ever after, new life, and just plain amazing shoots with some awesome people. I had no idea where this year would take me and honestly I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have learned and grown in this new year through the various shoots I have been a part of. Each one has taught me something new, challenged me, and impacted me. I can’t wait to see what next year brings for me! Over the next couple weeks be sure to be on the look out here and on other parts of social media where I will be posting about the new 2015 year of EZ Photography. I can’t wait to hear from you all about what the new year holds for you all! Please enjoy this last set of photos released of Jill and Derick Dillard! I have had so many ask about this last set of photos and I am pleased to be able to share them all with you. Let me know your thoughts from the weddings and what were your favorites from this set!

Thomas and Dakota | St. Louis, MO Wedding

Every wedding is special and unique in its own way. When it comes down to it I really would have a hard time picking which wedding was my favorite. Each one had a favorite thing I could choose from – the brides wedding dress, the decorations, or the location. I would have to say that for Thomas and Dakotas wedding it would have to be their first look. I know that first looks are rather a new thing verses the traditional “don’t see the bride until she walks down the aisle”. Whatever the bride and groom choose I am good with- I’ve had couples not have any contact at all and some the even though they may not see each other they have a time of prayer with hands clasp around a door frame. Each of those moments is beautiful and special. Out of all those moments I choose this one as by far my favorite. I told Thomas to wait at the end of walk with his back turned till Dakota was there. I love seeing the transition of his face, from waiting in the unknown till when he hears her behind him. The rest of the wedding went perfectly and soon they were headed to the Bahamas. I hope that these images give you a glimpse into the moments that were special on their day. Enjoy and have a wonderful day you all!

Dakota | Bridal Portraits

There is nothing more beautiful than a bride on her wedding day. But there is nothing more refreshing than a beautiful and relaxed bride. It can be a hectic day for a bride but when one can keep her cool and roll with the punches you can see it written all over her face. Dakota was literally the chillest bride I’ve ever worked with. It was the happiest day of her life and it was radiating out of every smile and laugh she shared throughout the day. More of their wedding will be featured in later posts but today I wanted to showcase just simply her. Enjoy!

Happy Monday ❤

Caleb and Lindsey | West Lafeyette, IN Wedding

So I cry sometimes when I shoot weddings. I know, it sounds sappy and you must be thinking, “Really? pull yourself together”. I do my best to tell my tear ducts to stop being little pansies and not get caught up in all the moments. This wedding though I was unable to hold back those tears. Lindsey is my second cousin. We grew up hanging out at family get togethers and walked down the aisle as flower girls together. When she asked me to be her photographer I was so thrilled! Her big day finally was upon us and I was caught up in the midst of the beautiful moments and it started to happen, tears began to trickle down. I quickly composed myself and continued shooting, but was just so grateful I was able to be there watching her make her life long commitment to her partner.  I absolutely love doing what I do and pouring everything I am into each image I capture. Really, there is nothing that makes me happier to be the one that captures the moments you want to remember forever.

Have a great day and enjoy!

Forever can never be long enough for me
To feel like I’ve had long enough with you
Forget the world now, we won’t let them see
But there’s one thing left to do

Marry Me

I had the honor to capture my cousins wedding this past weekend. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of the adventure. Dom helped me shoot for the first time and I couldn’t have asked for a better second shooter ;D Lindsey and Caleb are such an easy going couple and honestly this was one of the most relaxing weddings I’ve shot. Everything pulled together perfectly from her beautiful etsy head piece to hand painted mint mason jars..I just had to share this image, I hope it takes your breath away like it did mine the moment I shot it. Have a lovely evening all!

Chad and Erin | Part I

Image

Chad and Erin have been friends of mine for what seems like ages. I first met Chad in 2007 and shared the same employment for about 5 years. We shot many an event together along with his brother, Thomas. I am sure you have noticed on previous posts from Peru and other things that we have been partners in shooting people (: Well I recall the first time I started to see Chad and Erin interact. It was something I was able to watch develop over time and see their friendship grow into something much deeper and rooted firmly. Just this year we kind of all went our separate ways, Chad to Oklahoma, Erin in Tennessee, and I back to Indiana. I received a text from Chad then randomly one day, asking if I was interested in shooting a wedding! We had just shot one in Oklahoma earlier in the year. I of course said yes and asked who we would be shooting, and to my absolute surprise he told me it would be for him and Erin! I was so excited I am pretty sure that I let out a little bit of a scream. Honestly I am so honored to share these images the ones that will be following soon after. If you are interested in hearing their story and getting to know them a little more please visit their website www.chadloveserin.com

I promise that more of the wedding will be posted, it’s just so many good ones that it’s killing me to have to choose!

be blessed
