Ben and Jessa Pt. II | Ceremony

The bridal march begins and all eyes turn to the doors opening as the bride is escorted down the aisle. Yes, my eyes are on it as well, but I love looking at the groom in that moment. His face as he sees his bride coming towards him, it’s just priceless. That immediate reaction is sometimes for just a split second; I always try to capture that moment, freeze it in time for the couple to look back and cherish. Ben’s face as he saw Jessa coming down that aisle was so sweet, you could see the love and adoration he had for her in his eyes that were tearing up.

Another favorite part of the ceremony was something that was so special. Ben had kept the wedding band a surprise for his bride and she did not see it till it was being placed on her hand. Jessa let out a small gasp and muttered the words “it’s perfect” as it was placed on her finger. Her reaction to the band was again, a priceless moment that I am so glad I was able to capture for them.

I hope you enjoy this next set to their lovely wedding! Happy Easter to you all and may you enjoy your day wherever you may be!

Be blessed

xoxo

Dillard | Arkansas Couple

Wrapping up this wedding season and flipping through the various shoots I have been part of this past year just makes me so happy. But it makes me want to strive for me, see more, shoot more, meet more. I have loved being part of each and every happily ever after, new life, and just plain amazing shoots with some awesome people. I had no idea where this year would take me and honestly I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have learned and grown in this new year through the various shoots I have been a part of. Each one has taught me something new, challenged me, and impacted me. I can’t wait to see what next year brings for me! Over the next couple weeks be sure to be on the look out here and on other parts of social media where I will be posting about the new 2015 year of EZ Photography. I can’t wait to hear from you all about what the new year holds for you all! Please enjoy this last set of photos released of Jill and Derick Dillard! I have had so many ask about this last set of photos and I am pleased to be able to share them all with you. Let me know your thoughts from the weddings and what were your favorites from this set!

Caleb and Lindsey | West Lafeyette, IN Wedding

So I cry sometimes when I shoot weddings. I know, it sounds sappy and you must be thinking, “Really? pull yourself together”. I do my best to tell my tear ducts to stop being little pansies and not get caught up in all the moments. This wedding though I was unable to hold back those tears. Lindsey is my second cousin. We grew up hanging out at family get togethers and walked down the aisle as flower girls together. When she asked me to be her photographer I was so thrilled! Her big day finally was upon us and I was caught up in the midst of the beautiful moments and it started to happen, tears began to trickle down. I quickly composed myself and continued shooting, but was just so grateful I was able to be there watching her make her life long commitment to her partner.  I absolutely love doing what I do and pouring everything I am into each image I capture. Really, there is nothing that makes me happier to be the one that captures the moments you want to remember forever.

Have a great day and enjoy!

Forever can never be long enough for me
To feel like I’ve had long enough with you
Forget the world now, we won’t let them see
But there’s one thing left to do

Marry Me

I had the honor to capture my cousins wedding this past weekend. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of the adventure. Dom helped me shoot for the first time and I couldn’t have asked for a better second shooter ;D Lindsey and Caleb are such an easy going couple and honestly this was one of the most relaxing weddings I’ve shot. Everything pulled together perfectly from her beautiful etsy head piece to hand painted mint mason jars..I just had to share this image, I hope it takes your breath away like it did mine the moment I shot it. Have a lovely evening all!

Zach and Whitney | Marriedness

Those pre-ceremony jitters, double checking to make sure everything is there, special moments – all apart of those memories that are going to be ingrained for a lifetime. Enjoy these special snippets from Zach and Whitney’s incredible day.

‘Cause I’ll stand beside you through the years
You’ll only cry those happy tears
And though I make mistakes I’ll never break your heart

And I swear by the moon and the stars in the skies
I’ll be there
I swear like a shadow that’s by your side
I’ll be there

For better or worse till death do us part
I’ll love you with every beat of my heart
And I swear

I’ll give you everything I can
I’ll build your dreams with these two hands
We’ll hang some memories on the walls

Chad and Erin | Getting Ready

Those breathless moments before the ceremony. Nervous chatter and laughter lilting thought the air, curlers and makeup strewed around the room, butterflies swirling in the brides stomach as she realizes this is her last moments of singleness…all this and so much more is what goes on behind the scenes of the big reveal.  These are some of my favorite moments shared with the bridal party. I hope you enjoy these of how Erin’s day started off before she became Mrs. Chad Paine!

Stay tuned for more of the wedding to be coming soon!

Married | Kevin and Edie

Oh Canada how you leave me wanting to wander your captivating land. It’s been a couple weeks since my visit and now I am finally able to share the splendor of the weekend I spent way up north.

Kevin and Edie first approached me months ago about capturing their special day. I was so eager to accept! I couldn’t have been more thrilled to be asked to share in their big day! So the time came and a train, mega bus, three flights, and a six hour car ride later I finally arrived!

It’s a small community so far up north that practically no one is aware of the existence of La Crete, AB. Really I did not know what to expect but arms opened wide wherever I went. The day of the rehearsal almost the entire community of women pitched in to hand prepare the food for the reception. Collectively we made food to feed almost 350 people! And was it ever hard to NOT indulge in everything that was being made that day!!!

The day of the wedding arrived and excitement was stirring. The getting ready in the morning took place in a cozy setting with so many curling irons I am surprised we didn’t blow a fuse! It began it rain when we went to take the bridal shots and Edie just was a gem! Perfect attitude, nothing was ‘raining on her parade’ that day. The ceremony was beautiful and we were able to capture the rest of the shots at some unique locations.

I hope you all enjoy the results of Kevin and Edie’s very special day of marriage.

Be blessed,

ez
